Wow, can it be true that my brown eye'd baby is TWO months from being a year old!?? This has been the best ten months of our lives, and we can't wait for more wonderful memories to come with this precious spirited little boy ...
Between nine and ten months of age, Hudson has definately made the most changes and done more developing in just a month's time! He has grown in 5 more teeth, making a total of two on the bottom and 4 on top.
He always sleeps from 8:30 to 7:30 with a once in a-while 4 am binky call;)... He now will repeat "mama" or "dada" when we ask him to. And of course "mama" came first!! He feeds himself baby mum-mums
and graham crackers whenever we give them to him, and it is so much fun feeding him more versatile foods now that his little tummy can handle more, and he can use his lil chompers to chew more than just the baby "mush", haha. Since I started making the green smoothies every morning, I usuallly give Hudson some in a sippy cup, which he will gulp down, and its also nice that he can drink from a sippy now as well as his bottles.OH YEAH! One of the biggest changes, he got his FIRST haircut!!!
Victoria, who is cousin Brian's wife is a hair stylist, so she very sweetly offered to come to our home in Arizona and cut Hudsie's hair for the first time, which is a very big deal to me. She came over on the 11th and did such a great job with him, he hardly squirmed or fussed at all, just sat in his bumbo seat the whole time and ate graham crackers and watched his "Baby Einstien". We saved most of his baby fine whispies and put them in a small plastic baggy til I find my scrapbook for him and I can transfer it to there. Also about 2 and a half weeks ago he started making a "bbbbbbb" little babble. Its my favorite noise he's made so far because its quiet and so precious!
Every day he gets more stable on his feet, and can actually stand and balance on his own for a few seconds at a time. He walks very well as long as we hold his hands, and you can tell he wants to be able to walk whenever he feels like it! ... Since we got back from AZ its been a little funny how attached he is to Derek and I, and how he will reach for us if he's done with whoever is holding him at the time. I actually think its kind of cute when he gets upset and wants mommy to take him. OOh I love that little boy, every day is a new adventure with him, and we couldn't be happier with our life, we are truly blest to have him in our lives! xoxo my Hudson
