Moving ...

So in the year and two months we've been married, we have moved 6 times! ... We first moved into a cute town house near the mall in Boise, we were there until Derek signed another season of selling door to door with Pinnacle. We then moved to Logan Utah to another cute place. I really liked the condo we had there, but as for the town..it got very boring very fast, and we just decided to move to Pittsburgh early to start the season for selling home security. around the middle of April we moved to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. When we first got there I was a little skeptical of the place since I had never been to the East Coast before, and we were 3 days away from home. Derek and I were both way impressed with the city though, which was about a 10 minute drive from where our appartment was at. It was huge and beautiful, with lots of stuff to keep us entertained. The more time we spent there the more I liked it, and Derek was making good money that summer so we had enough money to live on and have fun with. .. The Downside of being there was that Derek had to work in some pretty scary places selling security, and we had to move appartments 3 times because the company messed up on the housing agreements a few times and had to switch us around, it was a little frustrating to say the least. In fact the third time we had to move appartments, we decided that selling for Pinnacle security wasn't all we had thought it was going to be, and it was the breaking point for us to move home and for Derek to find work locally somewhere in Idaho.
That brings us to where we're at now. When we first got back to Eagle, the three of us, including Yin, Derek, and I moved into his parents basement, where we lived for about 5 months. It was a challenging and a humbling experience, and I think I appreciate the house were in now a lot more because of it! Derek and I have been so blessed to find the job opportunity we did here in Eagle, and have been inspired by amazing people. So thanks to everything and all the help we've had, we now have our own beautiful house in Eagle Crest. I couldn't be more happy about the place we have to bring our new baby home to, three months from now! :-)

Marriage

A little over a year ago, Derek and I got married in the Downtown Boise Courthouse. We met on Halloween two months before that, and fell in love so fast that we both agreed we couldn't live the rest of our lives without the other. So on December 22nd, 2008 we said our vows and tied the knot. After Christmas and New Years was over, we then took a cruise that stopped at 3 different beaches in Mexico, which was our amazing honeymoon! The Honeymoon was about 9 days long, and when we got back I had just enough time to help my mom finish preparing for our Reception that was held at the Two Rivers Clubhouse in Eagle. Although everything was happening very quickly, it all seemed to fall into place perfectly, and the best part was a stress-free wedding ceremony, and party! :-) .. when people ask us, "how did you know that it was right to get married after only less than two months of knowing eachother"...theres never really a perfect answer for just having the feeling that it was meant to be, but thats exactly how it was, and now after a little more than a year of being married I couldn't be more happy and confident that I chose not only the "right one", but exactly the person that God created for me to be with for eternity.
