Beautiful Fall weather :)

Rare October weather! ...so today we went over to my friend Nikki's house, she has a really pretty backyard and Hudson and I spent some time outside while we were there and soaked up this gorgeous fall weather. Hudsie absolutely loves being outside. The true boy toddler side is coming out in him, and he ALWAYS wants to be out now. So luckily we are getting the most out of this rare fall weather :) Here's our fun day ........

My sissy Nat came over and gave Nikki a sexy new hair cut too! I kind of want one now, ha!!

Proud mommy

Today was our boy's first day going to nursery at church. Since he really does not enjoy going to the daycare at our gym, I figured it would be the same in the church nursery. Nope! Derek and I stayed in with him for maybe the first ten minutes, they were making fruit loop necklaces, and Hudson sat in his little seat and ate his little fruitloops, and instead of being nervous around new kids, he was smiling at them and having fun. The Nursery leaders told us that we could leave him there and see how he did for his first time. They assured us that if he cried at all, they would come get us. So, we snuck out the door when he was distracted with a book..... I kept waiting and waiting through Gospel Doctrine and Relief society for them to come get me with a crying Hudson, but he made it the whole time, SO happy! Sister Gooch came up to me after church just to tell me how good he was, and what a delight he was during the whole nursery time. I was so proud and happy that my baby boy was so great and brave. It was also so nice to be able to listen to a lesson for the first time in 18 months. haha... So he actually will be 18 months this Friday. Crazy how fast a year and a half has flown by. We could not be more proud to be his parents, and can't wait to continue watching him grow up to be such a good sweet boy. ♥

Is it really Fall already?!

Wow time FLIES!! Life has been a whirl wind since our family left for Texas this summer, then to Arkansas... now home! Actually, we have been home for quite some time, Hudson and I flew home September first and Derek drove home. He had to drive back to Sacramento for a week afterwards to "finish" his season w/ Pinnacle. After that, he came home, and we plan on staying home for GOOD!:)

It has been so lovely being home finally, being able to enjoy this beautiful Idaho Fall weather and have friends and family around again. I have been keeping busy with school work, getting settled back in, possibly getting a job as an Esthetician at Renu Medispa, and maybe even opening a boutique downtown Boise with my friend Rachel. (Thats a whole other story)... So yes. Derek is merging with a company called Silverline based out of Salt Lake city, and they are opening up an office here, so he's been busy with that of course.

Basically life is great, Hudson will be eighteen months this month!! :( Bittersweet still, he's growing so much but still stays as sweet and cuddly as ever. Even though he is now very mobile and curious about everything, he is still very obedient and doesn't usually pull things out of drawers or cabinets. His one favorite "no no" to do however, is get in the cat bowl. It's kind of funny actually. He'll get over to Yin's food, look at me and say " nah nah nah," and then proceed to splash around in her water bowl. LOL, It's hard not to laugh but I'm trying to teach him not to do it. His favorite movie since we got back home was Megamind for the longest time, until I could not watch it one more time. Then, last week we finally bought Rio which I had been wanting to see anyway. Now that is definately his favorite, and I don't mind watching it every day at all!

Any way, yesterday Mom and I wanted to take Hudson to the Berry Ranch again and make it a yearly tradition for him to get his photo shoot taken in the pumpkin patch. Here is what we came up with :).......
